Thank you, Rainer, for keeping Jim Morrison and The Doors’ legacy alive. I still remember the thrill of opening my mailbox and finding a fresh issue of The Doors Quarterly—those pages meant the world to me.

More than that, thank you for taking the time to respond to my recent message when I reached out about possibly writing something for the publication. You didn’t have to, but you did—with warmth, kindness, and real joy. That stayed with me. I won’t forget it.. RIP my friend. I’m a better man for knowing you.
